Gandhi Quotes About Life Mahatma Gandhi Quotes On Positive Thinking

Life may not always go as planned, but you have positive insights that can guide you through it, thanks to these quotes from the wise man, Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi, non-violence in peace and war No simple task is removing something which has been established. MAHATMA GANDHI, Hind Swaraj For one person cannot do justice in one branch of life while being engaged in doing injustice in another.

MAHATMA GANDHI, Hind Swaraj An error does not become a truth because of propagation multiplied, and truth does not become an error because no one sees it. MAHATMA GANDHI, The History of the Experiments of Truth MAHATMA GANDHI opposes violence, for when it appears to be doing good, the good is merely temporary; the evil that it does is permanent. As Gandhi said, the evils which result from violence are permanent, and there is no way of undoing the harm. Thinking negative thoughts, saying negative things, and doing things that are bad for others, is not going to get you a happier life.

Happiness is a feeling you can achieve by thinking positive thoughts, saying positive things, and doing the things that are positive for yourself and the others. These positive thoughts begin with my self-talk, but often self-talk begins with the talk of my negative emotions. Over time, the positive thoughts stop feeling embarrassing, and you will begin behaving as if they were the new thoughts.

You will be better for it, and you will build up good habits that will last throughout your life. Consider the time that will be needed, and whether you are willing to stick with something you believe you can accomplish, something you say you are going to accomplish, and whether you are willing to put in the work.

While you might not take the kind of extremes Gandhi did, you can take action on making the world a better place. Throughout his life, both in South Africa and in India, Gandhi was an intrepid crusader for the rights and dignity of all human beings, and his consistent, unswerving advocacy for nonviolence as the instrument to conquer hearts and minds has left his imprint on the world. Mahatma Gandhi is revered around the world as one of the most transformative and inspiring figures in history.

After studying law, Mahatma Gandhi was known to have championed Indian rights, eventually becoming the father of India's independence movement, Bapu. Born Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in 1869 in Porbandar, India--Gandhi was later nicknamed Mahatma, meaning Great Soul--the spiritual leader and father of Indian independence actually suffered from an intense fear of public speaking throughout most of his life. Gandhi was jailed several times because he refused to collaborate on things that he did not believe in.

Mahatma Gandhi's nonviolent activism spread far beyond India, becoming a worldwide appeal to oppressed people everywhere to come together and fight for freedom and justice by protesting peacefully. Gandhi's hesitation to use words taught him the power to say more with less--and today, those words, inflected with the heart and wisdom that made him an international icon, continue to inspire untold millions around the world. Even seventy years after his death, Gandhi's words can be used as guides to us, whether at the individual level or when considering how we should function as societies.

Taking as example Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Gandhiji told us we must never allow someone to corrupt us or to fill our minds with negative thoughts. Our thoughts and choices must be ours alone, and nobody should have any authority to manipulate or alter them. MAHATMA GANDHI,MAHATMA GANDHIs message to all men, The essential truths of Gandhi only, shall stand, and the rest shall be washed away by the tides of time.
